Welcome to the Greater Lansing Area Horseshoe Club cyber information center. Although you can’t pitch horseshoes in cyber land, you can pitch indoors and outdoors. In the summer, our club meets regularly on Thursday nights to play “outside” on the best courts in the State of Michigan.
Horseshoe pitching is really not a spectator sport. It is a very active and fun sport for just about everyone. Most of us got hooked on the sport just by pitching a couple of times. We are sure that if you give it a try, you too will be amazed on how fast you can become addicted to this friendly and fun sport.
We meet every Thursday night at 5:30 p.m. to ready the courts for play. The first Thursday in May until the third Thursday in August.
League starting time is promptly at 6:00 p.m. Our courts are located in West Side Park, 801 Stanley Street in west Lansing Michigan. We have 18 beautiful lighted courts with full walkways. See for yourself and then join us and have the time of your life. You’ll be glad you did!
Don’t forget to check out our facebook page. There, you will find more information and fun stuff about the club members, league and tournaments.
The club will post "NEWS" and other events on the left panel when there are new items of important interest along with announcements. Also, when there are "NEWS" events posted, use our "Archive" link to view older news items of interest.
The GLAHC will be pitching Thursday, August 25th for the traveling plaque indicating the city champion for 2016.
The format is the same for this tournament except that total points earned will determine the champion.
